NIOBIUM
Niobium is a pure metal which is very hypoallergenic.
Naturally a silvery grey colour, niobium is often anodized in a wide range of colours.
The anodised colour of the earwires and headpins is a layer of colour. Care needs to be taken when using pliers as the colour coating can be scratched if roughly handled.
The ends of the headpins are anodised but if you cut the headpin, the end will be the natural silvery grey colour of niobium.
TIP: Wrap your pliers with tape to lessen your chances of damaging the surface.
