PRICES The price payable for items purchased shall be those
current at the time of order. Prices are in pounds sterling. Individual prices
exclude the cost of shipping, which is added at the end of the order (see Shipping
Information for prices). For buyers outside the EC, any customs duties incurred
are the purchaser's responsibility. The current rate of VAT (20%) is included in all
our prices. Payment must be made in pounds sterling. For international
buyers, your payment will be converted automatically for you on your credit card
statement. Prices and availability of products are subject to change without
notice.
OWNERSHIP OF GOODS All goods remain the property of
Beadsisters until payment is received in full.
REPRESENTATION OF
GOODS We try to provide accurate information about the products we sell.
Care is taken to ensure that the pictures on our website depict colours as
accurately as possible. However, variations may occur due to limitations in
photographic reproduction or the colour settings on different computer monitors.
The shade of colour may vary between different batches of items. Please make
sure you order enough items to complete your project. Terms such as gold,
silver, bronze, copper, amethyst, topaz, etc are descriptive of the colour and
are items are not made from these materials unless otherwise stated. Similarly, the term
'crystal' refers to transparent glass not a lead crystal or semi-precious stone
unless otherwise stated. Antique is a description of a product that has been
made to look antique. As many items we sell are handmade or made from
natural stone, for instance Bali silver products, dichroic glass products,
lampwork beads and gemstone items, size and weight may vary slightly from the
description. If you order more than one handmade or stone product, we do our
best to ensure that we send items that are as similar as possible. Colours
may fade over time if exposed to direct sunlight or water. If any goods are
unsatisfactory, we will accept their return according to our Returns Policy.
We cannot be held liable for consequential loss.
CUSTOMER SERVICE We want you to be totally happy with your
purchases and with the service you receive. If a mistake has been made with
your order, please contact us immediately. Orders go through a rigorous quality
checking system, but occassionally a mistake can be made. If you have a
complaint, please contact us by phone or email and we will do our best
to resolve any issues you raise.
RETURNS POLICY Our returns
policy complies with the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations
2000. For more details about your consumer rights the dti produce a fact sheet
at www.dti.gov.uk/consumers/fact-sheets/page24635.html You have the right to
cancel your order for any reason within 7 working days from the day after you
receive the goods you ordered. If you wish to cancel any part of your order,
you must do so in writing or email (not the telephone) and we will give you a
refund within 30 days (provided the goods have been returned to us in good
condition). If you are returning goods to us, it is your responsibility to
ensure they reach us in good resaleable condition. Get proof of postage from the
post office - it is free and insures contents up to £46.00. We cannot refund
goods we do not receive. Please let us know when you have posted your returned
goods so that we can expect them. Returned goods must be in their original
packaging, unused and have proof of purchase enclosed before any refunds are
given. The cost of returning any cancelled items is at your expense. We will
refund the order or the relevant part of the order, excluding the shipping
charges.
If any of your goods are faulty, you have the choice whether
you wish to accept a replacement or a refund. You will need to return any
faulty goods (please contact us in writing and get proof of postage). Upon receipt, we will refund
the cost of the items and the applicable postage for the package. Should you use an
excessive number of postage stamps, we will only refund the cost of the required rate for that package.
GOODS OUT OF STOCK The website is updated
regularly. However, if you should order an item which runs out of stock prior to
despatch, we will contact you. You will be offered the choice of ordering an
alternative, having the item placed on back order (if the item is due in stock)
or receiving a refund.
PRIVACY POLICY We do not disclose
buyers' information to third parties unless required by law.
Our
terms and conditions are binding and no variation to our terms and conditions
shall be accepted unless agreed in writing by Beadsisters.
